North Bay Regional Center was awarded funding from the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) in partnership with the California Department of Mental Health and the Department of Developmental Services. Building Bridges is two training conferences that will be offered in two formats: the first, March 7, from 1:00 to 5:00pm, for regional center vendors, families, and others interested in how best to meet the needs of people diagnosed with a mental health condition and a developmental disability, including best practices for assessment and working with interdisciplinary teams. The second, March 8, from 8:30am to 5:00pm, for mental health professionals and other professionals working with individuals who have a dual diagnosis of developmental disability and mental health condition. The afternoon session of this conference will be centered around improving community collaborations and the systemic change needed to increase access across service delivery systems. Both conferences will be held at the Double Tree Conference Center, American Canyon. Please register using the links below.
