A recent amendment to the Lanterman Act (Section 4519.5 of the Welfare and Institutions Code) requires all regional centers to provide a report of our purchase of services across identified demographic groups of our clients, e.g., disability type, age, race or ethnicity, and primary language.

NBRC prepared this report in collaboration with the Department of Developmental Services. While the data is comprehensive, it is important to note a summary of limitations related to this data is included, and we encourage you to keep these limitations in mind when reviewing the data. For example, services that NBRC purchases under a contract, such as some supported employment services and transportation, are not counted in this data. It also does not include authorized expenditures for services which have been provided but have not yet been billed to the regional center by service providers. In addition, this report does not reflect services in Individual Family Service Plans (IFSP) that are funded by MediCal, Supplemental Security Income, health plans, etc.

Please contact NBRC is you have questions.
