Vendor Advisory Committee Meeting

The VAC meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 10am to 11:30am  in the Board Room of NBRC’s Napa Office.

The VAC will function in keeping with the general plan of goals and objectives established in North Bay Regional Center’s annual performance agreement with the California Department of Developmental Services. Specifically, the VAC shall:

• Serve as a vehicle for communication between NBDDS Board, NBRC leadership, and NBRC-vendored programs and services.

• Advocate for equity, continuity and quality in service delivery.

• Identify and present to NBDDS issues of interest to vendor programs/services.

• Provide guidance and technical assistance to the NBDDS Board of Directors and NBRC leadership.

• Provide input on the development of policy and procedures affecting services and/or the delivery of services.

• Provide relevant data and information on service recipient and program/service needs.

• Provide support, assistance, and information to vendors regarding North Bay Regional Center services and procedures, as well as generic community services and resources.

• Participate in developing resolutions in problems related to service delivery, including providing assistance to resolve vendor questions or concerns related to the Regional Center. 9This statement in no way should be considered as interfering with or altering the administering or the fair hearing process.)

• Promote positive, professional and productive relations between the NBDDS Board, NBRC leadership, and NBRC vendors.
