North Bay Regional Center is a nonprofit private corporation that contracts with the Department of Developmental Services to coordinate services and supports for individuals with developmental disabilities.  We are looking for a Back-Up Receptionist and Floater Client Services Assistant to join our dedicated team.  At North Bay, we’re promoting opportunities by supporting choices for people with developmental disabilities.

POSITION

Back-up Receptionist for the Santa Rosa office, providing reception coverage for all breaks and meal periods, as well as any full or partial day absences.  Also the primary contact for all Spanish-speaking callers and in-person visitors.  When not providing Reception duties, provides full office support to Case Management under the direction of the Administrative Office Supervisor.

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Equivalent to graduation from high school; three years paid clerical experience

OR

Graduation from business school or other two-year post high school secretarial program and two years’ experience.  Must know Microsoft Word have the ability to type 50 WPM.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Possession of a valid driver’s license and minimum legal automobile liability insurance, or access to another form of reliable transportation. Bilingual English/Spanish speaking required.  This position will be based in the office and will work Monday-Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm.

Under a mandate issued by the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) on September 28, 2021, all Regional Center Employees must be fully vaccinated by November 30, 2021, or be approved for a medical or religious exemption by NBRC. Also, all NBRC employees must receive their booster dose no later than March 1, 2022, or no later than 15 days after becoming eligible for the booster.  If offered a position at NBRC, all newly hired employees will be required to provide proof of vaccination, or to engage with NBRC in an interactive discussion regarding a potential medical or religious exemption.

Salary

$43,224 – $57,264 with opportunities for 5% increases annually
