POSITION
The Communications & Training Specialist is a confidential position under the general direction of the Director of Administrative Services. The Communications & Training Specialist will proactively develop and manage the production and distribution of all public information produced by the agency; also responsible for the design, development and delivery of NBRC’s New Employee Orientation programs. This role will support NBRC by collaborating with members of the Executive Team to develop and monitor NBRC’s Performance Contract with DDS, along with monitoring and reporting on NBRC’s progress related to the National Core Indicators, preparing related presentations for internal and external distribution.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in a field related to training and/or communications, such as Communications, Public Relations, English, Business, Journalism, Organizational Development, Adult Learning, Public Administration, Education, Human Resources or other related field. Strong working knowledge of at least the following social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube. Two years’ experience in an increasingly responsible leadership or administrative role. Spanish speaking ability strongly preferred.

Salary Range
$55,944 – $75,024 with opportunities for 5% increase annually
