Quality Assurance Supervisor

North Bay Regional Center is a nonprofit private corporation that contracts with the Department of Developmental Services to coordinate services and supports for individuals with developmental disabilities.  We are looking for a Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our dedicated team.  At North Bay, we’re promoting opportunities by supporting choices for people with developmental disabilities.

POSITION:

Under the direction of the Director of Community Services, the Quality Assurance Supervisor assesses, evaluates, monitors and continuously improves the quality of service providers; is responsible for oversight of North Bay Regional Center’s vendor monitoring, risk mitigation, Home and Community Based Services final rule, SIR and Plan of Correction follow up; ensures compliance of agency standards, policies, regulations and procedures.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Completion of a Master’s Degree in public administration, business administration, psychology criminal justice, social work or a related field.  Three years of paid case management/quality assurance experience after the degree, at least one of which is in the field of developmental services and one-year supervisory experience in his/her specialty field.

OR

Two years in a professional position at North Bay Regional Center and two years’ quality assurance experience.  Minimum qualifications may be waived depending on the agency’s need for specialized skills (such as language abilities).

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Possession of a valid driver’s license and minimum legal automobile liability insurance or access to another form of reliable transportation.

KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of regional center systems, procedures, Title 17 and 22 for the vendor categories which may include community care facilities (including specialized residential services), adult day programs, infant programs, health facilities, supported/independent living services and adult family homes; quality assurance and/or quality management systems experience, program design and evaluation.

Under a mandate issued by the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) on September 28, 2021, all Regional Center Employees must be fully vaccinated by November 30, 2021, or be approved for a medical or religious exemption by NBRC. If offered a position at NBRC, all newly hired employees will be required to provide proof of vaccination, or to engage with NBRC in an interactive discussion regarding a potential medical or religious exemption.

 Salary Range

$72,660 – $97,428 with opportunities for 5% increases annually
