SELF-DETERMINATION PROGRAM SPECIALIST
POSITION
The Self-Determination Specialist is a confidential position under the general direction of the Director of Client Services and will be responsible for the implementation and administration of the Self-Determination Program (SDP), serving as the central point of contact for staff and the community. This position will provide training, advocacy and carry out administrative functions in relation to the participants of the Self-Determination Program and NBRC staff. In addition, the SDP Specialist will provide support and internal consultation on SDP to all case management units, Community Services and Fiscal Department staff on an as needed basis.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree and at least two years’ experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities; regional center experience strongly preferred.
Spanish Speaking ability strongly preferred.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of a valid California driver’s license, and minimum legal automobile liability insurance required; the ability to provide personal automobile transportation during working hours and after hour emergencies or access to another form of reliable transportation which meets these minimum legal requirements.

Salary Range
$55,968 – $75,036 with opportunities for 5% increase annually
