The Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC), the regional transportation planning agency for the nine-county San Francisco Bay Area, has initiated a study to determine how to make transit more affordable for the Bay Area’s low-income residents.
As part of this effort, they will be conducting focus groups with low-income residents of the Bay Area—both those who ride transit and those who do not—to get their feedback on some potential affordability solutions. See informational flyers here :
