Trauma-Informed Care: Ensuring Safe, Supportive Services
NBRC Napa, 610 Airpark Road
10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.

Becoming “trauma-informed” means recognizing that people often have many different types of trauma in their lives. It’s probable that most of our clients have experienced trauma. And so have many of us who work with them. Sometimes, trauma survivors can be re-traumatized by well-meaning caregivers and community service providers. Understanding the types of trauma and their impact is an essential element of compassionate and supportive services.

Two CEUs available.  If interested, note this in your reply and bring a check for $10.00 payable to North Bay Regional Center on the training day.
