You Belong! An NBRC Fun Fest Celebrating Community & All Identities

Join us for a day filled with connection and support at NBRC’s Summer Resource Fair! This event is specially curated for individuals and families who are a part of the NBRC community. Come together with others to explore resources from your county, engage in fun activities, admire artwork in our gallery, and be entertained by a special performance.

RESOURCE FAIR:
We are looking for resources from Napa, Solano and Sonoma County to join us! Help us improves access to information about your services while engaging in a fun carnival themed event. We are asking resource fair vendors to host a carnival themed activity (e.g., games, activities, snacks, etc) for those in attendance to participate in.

ART CONTEST:
Art submissions must meet the following requirements:

  • All submissions must be 8.5 in x 11 inches.
  • Submissions should represent what belonging looks like for the artist.
  • With each submission, please include: Artist name, Title of art piece, Artist statement and Contact information.

NBRC Focus Group Workshop

NBRC is excited to announce that we will be updating our focus groups with a new informational workshop in addition to our listening session. Starting January 2024, our focus group workshops will be held quarterly, with the first workshop centered on “What is an Individual Program Plan (IPP)?”. These workshops will take place both in person, alternating between different counties each quarter, and virtually via Zoom. NBRC Trunk-or-Treat

Ghostly greetings to our NBRC community!

It’s time to get your ghoul on! NBRC is brewing up our first-ever Trunk-or-Treat, and it’s creeping up fast. So, listen up and mark your calendars for October 31st from 4-6 pm. Hop on your broomsticks and fly on down for a wicked time with chilling games and a whole lot of candy! All the devilish details are just a cackle away!

We will be hosting this Trunk-or-Treat in Solano County with the intention of alternating counties for future years. Though this event will be hosted in Solano County, our NBRC community from all counties are welcome.

The Parent Reunion – Registration

Registration for The Parent Reunion is now LIVE!

We will be hosting our first parent conference in partnership with Parents Can on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Napa Valley College. The Parent Reunion is a conference for parents and guardians of children with special needs where we will host various workshops, a community and vendor resource fair and much more! We are looking forward to this day full of information, connection and community!

Back to School Event – Backpack Distribution (Napa County)

Mark your calendars Napa County! On August 4, 2023 at 1:30pm at North Bay Regional Center, NBRC will distribute free backpacks to the individuals we serve. Every backpack will be filled with school supplies and each family will receive a folder full of NBRC resources. Popcorn, fruit and light refreshments will also be served.

We are so excited to host this fun event and will have a total of 77 backpacks available on a first-come, first served basis.
