Rally For Justice! We Shall Prevail

SpeakForJustice-Rally in SacramentoThe Lanterman Coalition, which includes ARCA, is calling advocates from around the state to Sacramento on Thursday, September 3rd! This will be a major action, and our last opportunity to let our voices be heard in Sacramento before the Legislature leaves town for the year on September 11. This event will include videos, speakers, a march, a rally, and self-guided legislative visits. You don’t want to miss it! On Thursday September 3rd, starting at 10am at the Crest Theater (1013 K Street), you’ll get to see inspirational, historical, and compelling videos – including clips from We’re Here To Speak For Justice. Service Provider Training: Strategies for Behavioral Crises

On Tuesday, August 25th from 10:00am to noon at 25 Executive Court, Napa, NBRC is offering a training for service providers addressing strategies for handling urgent behavioral situations. Participants will learn the “3 Tiered Model” from trainer Yaz Aboul, MS, BCBA Founder and Executive Director Animate Behavior LLC .  This training offers 2 CEUs at a $10.00 fee.

 

NBRC Presents Performance Plan for Public Input

On Wednesday, Sept. 2 at the NBRC Board Meeting (5:00-7:00pm 10 Executive Court, Napa) NBRC’s Training and Information Manager, Pamela Madden-Krall, will present NBRC’s semi-annual draft performance plan for 2015-16: NBRC Performance Plan 2015 for public input. This year, after a full cycle of National Core Indicators data, NBRC will also present findings related to this data, included in the draft Plan.

Bring your ideas and suggestions for how  NBRC can improve quality services in meeting the needs of individuals and families receiving services. Check out our 2015 data at the Transparency page here.
